Added a prompt on the edit page when user B (who has the edit permission) goes to an analysis subject that user A is editing.
Added the function of automatically changing the edit page to the preview page. For details, see section "Notes."
You hope to view the whole creation process of a dashboard (published by other users).
You hope that other users can edit the dashboard collaboratively when you create a dashboard.
The FineBI-supported collaboration function allows you to collaborate with other design users on folders/analysis subjects.
Users with whom you collaborate can view or use the content of related analysis subjects.
By using this function, you can edit analysis subjects with other users collaboratively.
Multiple users can edit the same analysis subject at the same time. However, multiple users cannot edit the same analysis resource (for example, component) simultaneously.
Resources (that support collaboration) include analysis subjects and folders.
Designers can use the collaboration function.
Users (who are not the creators of analysis subjects/these subjects' parent resources) cannot collaborate with others on analysis subjects. They can only view the collaboration situation of these analysis subjects, as shown in the following figure.
The admin needs to assign the use permission of the resource collaboration function to users who have created folders or analysis subjects. That is, with this permission, users can determine whom to collaborate with, as shown in the following figure.
1. If the admin does not enable Resource Collaboration Control, any designer can collaborate with other designers on resources. If the admin enables Resource Collaboration Control, whom designers can collaborate with on resources is subject to the permissions set by the admin.
2. Assume that users have collaborated with other users on analysis subjects (with Resource Collaboration Control and Hierarchical Authorization disabled). If the admin enables related buttons, the admin must assign the collaboration permission to the corresponding department/role to restore the previous collaboration.
The following figure shows how to set the users you want to collaborate with on resources.
1. Go to the analysis list under My Analysis as the designer Alice, select the needed folder, click the icon, and select Collaborate from the drop-down list, as shown in the following figure.
2. Click Add Collaborator and assign the use permission of the analysis subject to allen and the use and edit permissions to alvin, as shown in the following figure.
