    1.2 Application scenarios

    In the data analyst app, users can configure their own servers and preview the dashboards in the FineBI project directory.

    1.3 Functional Description

    Open the data analyst app and click the server button in the lower left corner of the login interface to enter the server list, as shown in the following figure:

    In the data analyst app, FineReport and FineBI Demo servers are built-in, and users can preview the sample dashboards to understand the functions of FanRuan products.

    Users can switch, modify, add, and delete their own servers in the data analysis app.

    2. PC side configuration

    2.1 Environmental confirmation

    Switch the PC device and the mobile device to the same network environment. There are three methods:

    1) Turn on the hotspot for the computer on the mobile phone.

    2) Connect your phone and computer to the same hotspot.

    3) Configure an environment that can be connected to the external network for the server.

    Note: In order to prevent the IP of the computer from being switched to the IP of the wireless network, please unplug the wired network.



    2.2 Platform configuration QR code

    The administrator logs in to the data decision system, clickManagement>Mobile Platform>APP Config , enter the corresponding server name and server address , and clicks Generate QR Code.

    This article takes the local server as an example, and the input address is  http://ip:port/project name/decision  , as shown in the following figure:

    Note: The server address is generally the URL of the installed PC-side project. For special cases, please refer to the document: Section 3.2 Access FineBI via IP Address with Tomcat .

    2.3 Configure account password

    If you want to access the template on the mobile terminal, you need to have an account and password of the data decision system. For the specific setting method, please refer to: BI View User

    After the initialization is successful, this article takes the built-in user Alice of the FineBI designer as an example, whose account and password are: Alice , 123456 respectively .

    3. App configuration server

    Note: For App download and installation, please refer to: App Usage

    After the app is downloaded  and installed, open the data analyst app, click Server > New Server , and scan the QR code configured in Section 2.2 .

    Confirm the server information, click the √ sign in the upper right corner to add the project in the server list and automatically jump to the login page. As shown below:

    Note 1: Users can scan the QR code saved in the album.

    Note 2: The user can manually input the server information, the server address is:http://ip:port/project name/decision

    Note 3: To improve security, users expect data to be encrypted when the client communicates with the server. If the server has used HTTPS SSL encryption, the app also supports the HTTPS protocol when adding a server.

    4. App login server

    Enter the administrator's account and password on the login page to enter the homepage/main directory of the mobile terminal of the project, as shown in the following figure:

    Note 1: If you enter the user account and password (non-administrator) built into FineReport, you need to assign the user the permission to view the directory. For details, please refer to: Instructions on Assigning Permissions According to Users

    Note 2: The FineReport10.0 platform adopts the AccessToken authentication. After checking the automatic login, the AccessToken is valid for 14 days. After 14 days, you need to log in again.


    5. Other server settings

    5.1 Editing the server

    The built-in Demo server does not support editing, and there is no edit button on the right.

    The server added by the user provides editing. Click the edit button on the right to enter the manual editing server interface. Other operations are the same as adding a server, as shown in the following figure:

    5.2 Delete server

    1) The built-in FineBI server and the server added by yourself can be deleted.

    2) Slide your finger to the left to delete.

    3) Hold your finger and slide to the right to cancel the deletion.

    4) Click the delete button, and a prompt "Is sure to delete this server" pops up, click Confirm to delete, and click Cancel to do nothing.

    5.3 Switch the server

    1) In the server list, click the server and switch to the login interface of the server.

    2) Click the server again, and the server corresponding to the current login interface is selected.

    6. Server connection failed

    Problem Description:

    When previewing on the mobile terminal, after scanning the QR code, it prompts that the server connection fails or the webpage cannot be opened. As shown below:

    6.1 Unconfigured network environment

    Reason analysis: The mobile device is not configured and is in the same network environment as the computer.

    Workaround: See Section 2.1 of this document for details .

    6.2 Firewall blocking

    Cause analysis: If it is confirmed that the document process has been followed and the application configuration meets the requirements, the error may be caused by the Windows Firewall.

    Solution: Users can directly close the Windows Firewall, and then perform the mobile preview operation. Or set up Windows Firewall to open unallowed ports as below.

    1) Open Windows Security Center > Firewall and Network Protection > Advanced Settings , select Inbound Rules > New Rule , as shown below:

    2) Set the rule type to port , the protocol to TCP , the port to a specific local port, and set it to the project port. Just save it, as shown below:

    6.3 The mobile phone and the server are not on the same network

    If the server connection fails in the intranet environment, you need to confirm whether your mobile phone and the server are on the same network.

    6.4 Mobile Platform User Restrictions

    After the platform user is configured in the "User Management"  , the corresponding user is not added in the "Users of the Mobile Terminal", resulting in the error "You are not authorized to use the mobile terminal at the moment, please contact the administrator".

    You can use the default setting method of unlimited number of people, or add the corresponding users in the mobile terminal users. For details, refer to   the platform users  .
