You (the admin) can import the organized user information table into the FineDataLink system in a single operation.
You (the admin) can import user information, departments, and roles multiple times.
You (the admin) can edit, disable, and delete the imported users.
You want the user data in the FineDataLink system to be a collection made from multiple datasets.
You can create a server dataset based on user information tables and import the user data into the FineDataLink system. After the initial import, if users are added to or removed from the server dataset, manual re-import is required. System users can be a collection made from multiple datasets.
Previously added/imported user data will not be cleared during dataset importing if the encryption method is unchanged.
The user data to be imported, which is sourced from server datasets, can be in either a hierarchical or a flat department structure.
You can select a proper data preparation method based on the user structure.
For details, see Preparing Data for User Import/ Synchronization.
Log in to the FineDataLink system as the admin and choose System Management > User Management > All Users, and then click Import User to configure user information, as shown in the following figure.
The following content shows the specific setting items.
The current platform users are either manually added or imported users.
The usernames, mobile numbers, mailbox addresses, and passwords of users are updated.
Departments and roles of users are incrementally updated.
The result is the union of the original system user information and the user information from the server dataset.
The usernames, mobile numbers, mailbox addresses, and passwords of users are not updated.
Select the server dataset corresponding to user information.
Values of Username, Name, Password, Dept., Position, Role, Mobile, and Mailbox are the field names in the corresponding server dataset.
1. The user email information configured in User Management can be used in conjunction with the Mailbox function in System Management, where emails can be sent to users' mailboxes on the platform through the FineDataLink system.
2. Configured Dept. and Position cannot be reverted to deselected states unless you delete and re-select them.
3. The system allows assigning a department to a user without assigning a position.
You can encrypt the user passwords stored in the FineDB configuration database in the system. The above operations can ensure that the user's actual login information cannot be obtained even if the database is decrypted.
You can select Built-in SHA Encryption or Custom Password Encryption from the drop-down list of Encryption Method.
1. Built-in SHA Encryption
The FineDataLink system applies SHA256 encryption to ensure password security.
After you customize a password through an API, the password will be automatically encrypted using SHA256.
2. Custom Password Encryption
Custom Password Encryption involves customizing a password encryption class that describes the encryption method. The .class file is saved in the path FineDataLink installation directory\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\classes.
FineDataLink will perform a second SHA256 encryption based on the user's custom encryption algorithm to ensure password security.
For details on custom encryption examples, see Password Encryption Setting for the Import User.
1. Custom encryption algorithms must inherit the AbstractPasswordValidator class.
2. The platform will clear the data of the existing imported/added users, departments, positions, and roles, and reset the admin account if you change the encryption method, as shown in the following figure.
After importing users, you can view the user hierarchy, user positions, and usernames in Department, as shown in the following figure.
You (the admin) can edit, disable, and delete imported users. For details, see Adding Users.
