Function Description

After logging in to FineDataLink as an admin, you can configure a series of general settings under System Management > System Setting > General, as shown in the following figure.

This chapter only introduces FineDataLink-related parameters. For details about more parameters, see General.

Module	Function	Introduction
General parameter	Servlet Path Name	Modification is not recommended because modifying it will affect URLs used to access templates. The default value is decision.
	URL Management Center	This switch controls the connection to the cloud center. If you enable the function, information will be collected and sent to the cloud center, enabling the use of cloud-based operation and maintenance features. Enabling the function is recommended.
	External Database	If FineDataLink is configured with an external database, the platform will remain stable in cluster environments or when dealing with large volumes of data. For details, see External Database Configuration.
	Week Start from	It can be set to Monday or Sunday. You need to click Save and restart the system for the setting to take effect. If it is set to Monday, the week ranges from Monday to Sunday. If it is set to Sunday, the week ranges from Sunday to Saturday. This setting affects date formulas: Supported formulas include WEEK and WEEKDAY. The formula WEEKDAY(), which returns the numeric day of the week, is unaffected.
	Gzip Compression	Enabling Gzip Compression can reduce storage usage. When the system transfers files through the network, the transfer time can be reduced, thus speeding up report access. Enabling the function is recommended.
O&M Platform Connection Setting		FineOps provides solutions for the stable operation and comprehensive O&M management for FanRuan applications. FineOps supports the connection to deployed FineReport, FineBI, and FineDataLink projects. This configuration is used to initiate connection requests. For specific steps, see Connecting to Existing Projects.
Font Detection	Font Missing Detection	If you enable Font Missing Detection, the system will automatically detect the used fonts. If the server lacks the required fonts, the system will prompt the designer or user to install the corresponding fonts.

After you disable URL Management Center, some functions will be unavailable. The functions that cannot be used are shown in the following table.
