FineDataLink has a built-in HyperSQL database (HSQLDB).
The HSQLDB cannot be accessed by multiple threads and may become unstable in a cluster environment with large amounts of data. It is suitable for a local trial of product functionality. Projects intended for formal use require the configuration of an external database.
Unpredictable problems may occur in the data migration process. You can choose to migrate the existing data or enable a new database.
A FineDataLink system with an external database configured is stable in cluster environments or when experiencing large amounts of data.
You can configure the external database during initialization or on the platform. The configuration requirements and steps of the two methods are the same.
The following table shows the supported types and versions of the external database.
