BIP (Bridge IP) is the IP address of docker0, the default bridge of Docker for a project. All containers that do not specify a network connect to this bridge, and subnet IP addresses are assigned through it.
When deploying a new project or adding a node to an existing project, you can specify the node's Docker BIP to prevent deployment failures caused by occupied network segments.
For details, see New Project Deployment.
Project backups are stored in the FineOps mounting directory by default. When local disk space is insufficient, you need to expand the physical disk or change the FineOps mounting directory to a location with more available space, which requires high operational effort.
From this version, you can customize backup storage locations. You can write backups to your own S3 storage without preparing another mounting directory due to insufficient physical disk space.
For details, see Project Backup.
Resource validation for nodes is relaxed when components are added or scaled. Deployment is allowed when the available resources of a node reach 7/8 of the estimated required amount. For example, if a component is estimated to require 8 GB of memory, deployment is allowed when the available memory of the node is 7 GB.
For details, see Adding Components to O&M Projects.
The following check items have been optimized or applied for FineDataLink projects.
Before this version: You were advised to allocate at least six cores of CPU resources to the FineDataLink container.
After this version: You are advised to allocate at least eight cores of CPU resources to the FineDataLink container.
New for FineDataLink projects:The system checks the total memory of Xmx + Off-heap memory + FineIO Read + FineIO Write + CodeCache configuration + Metaspace memory + 4 GB for the FineDataLink container. The value is advised to be less than or equal to the maximum available memory of the container.
New for FineDataLink projects:You are advised to reduce the maximum available memory of containers or increase the server memory configuration, ensuring that the sum of the maximum available memory values of all containers on the server is less than or equal to the available server memory.
You are advised to ensure that the sum of the maximum available CPUs of all containers divided by the actual server CPUs is less than or equal to four.
