Overview
Application Scenario
You can use stacked percentage area charts when you need to show the relationship of the parts to the whole, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Feature
Stacked percentage area charts can display the trend line for the percentage of each value over time or category, and highlight the trends of changes in percentage.
Example
Data Preparation
Create a general report and add the built-in dataset population which records the population of each continent separately for each 50 years, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Insertion
1. Merge required cells, and choose Insert > Cell Element > Insert Chart on the menu bar of the designer, as shown in the following figure.
2. Select Percentage Stacked Area Chart in the Chart Type pop-up dialog box, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Data Binding
Select the area chart, and select Data on the right chart attribute setting panel, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Style Setting
1. Choose Style > Title, and set the title in Text, as shown in the following figure.
2. Choose Style > Axis > Y-axis and fill in Ten thousand for the title, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Attributes Setting
1. Choose Special Effect > Condition Display, add Condition Attribute, and add Mark Point in the drop-down list in Attribute, as shown in the following figure.
2. Set Series Index as 1, as shown in the following figure.
3. Attributes of Mark Point are set as follows.
4. Add the types of Mark Point for Series Index 2, 3, and 4 in turn, as shown in the following figure.

Save the template, and click Pagination Preview. The following figure shows the effect.
