Overview
Application Scenario
Stacked area charts are suitable for demonstrating the cumulative effect of multiple data series over time, especially when you need to compare the total and partial amounts of different categories, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Feature
Stacked area charts refer to an overall cumulative area constituted by data series stacking together, where data series can be differentiated through colors, visually demonstrating the contribution of each part to the total.
Example
Data Preparation
Choose File > New General Report in the upper left corner of the designer, create a dataset ds1, and enter the database query statement is select * from sales.
Chart Insertion
Merge required cells, click Insert Chart on the upper toolbar, and select Area Chart, as shown in the following figure.
Chart Data
Select the area chart and bind the data as shown in the following figure.
Chart Style
Chart Title
Choose Style > Title on the Cell Element configuration panel, and set the title to Stacked Area Chart.

The area chart series setting items are shown below.
Effect Display
PC
Save the template and click Pagination Preview. The effect is the same as that shown in section "Application Scenario".
Mobile Terminal
The report can be previewed on both the DataAnalyst app and the HTML5 terminal. The following figure shows the effect.
