Parameter Widget Switchover Order Setting Through Tab Key Plugin

Many users are accustomed to switching the widget focus through the Tab key to complete parameter entering. But currently the widget focus order is subject to the order in which widgets are created.

In this case, you can adjust the widget switchover order through the Tab key as needed by downloading the Parameter Widget Switchover Order Setting Through Tab Key plugin.

After plugin installation, click the Component Settings icon and click para. Then you can view the setting item Widget Switchover Order in Attribute, as shown in the following figure.

Select a widget parameter and switch the widget order through the up and down arrows, as shown in the following figure.

You can click Move Up, Move Down, and Sort (namely the mixed sort supporting the ascending/descending order switchover) to specify the sort rule.

The following sections demonstrate how to use the function through a simple example.

Template Setting

Create a template, add template parameters, and add the parameters to the parameter panel, as shown in the following figure.

Order Switchover

Adjust the switchover order of p2 and p3, as shown in the following figure.

Effect Display

After order adjustment, save the template and preview the effect. Switch the parameter widget focus through the Tab key, as shown in the following figure.

Before adjustment, the switchover order through the Tab key is p1, p2, p3, and p4.

After adjustment, the switchover order through the Tab key is p1, p3, p2, and p4.
