    Function Description

    Besides the report project folder, the cache folder .FineReport110 is also generated by default in the system disk after you have installed the designer. The cache folder contains the designer configuration file FineReportEnv.xml, which stores the setting content under File (on the designer menu bar) > Options, and some information about the working directory and designer layout.

    • The folder .FineReport110 is generated in the C:\Users\username path in Windows system.

    • The folder .FineReport110 is generated in the personal directory in Mac system.

    Content Introduction

    The file FineReportEnv.xml stores information like designer configurations and remote connection configurations. The following sections introduce main parts of the storage content.

    Designer Attribute

    The field Attributes stores the current directory of the dialog, path opened by default, data connection opened last time, and default data connection for creating a dataset, as shown in the following figure.

    Report Pane Attribute

    The field ReportPaneAttributions stores attributes of some report cells, such as performing parent cell calculation by default, allowing strings to be edited as formulas, cell editors, the grid line color, and the pagination line color, as shown in the following figure.

    Working Directory Attribute

    The file FineReportEnv.xml also stores the project directory information created in all designers and the template opened when you switch to the project last time, as shown in the following figure.

    AlphaFine Intelligent Search

    The file FineReportEnv.xml stores a large amount of content (namely content corresponding to the field AlphaFineConfigManager) about the AlphaFine intelligent search in the designer, as shown in the following figure.

    Other Configurations

    In addition to the above four parts, the file also stores some other configurations, such as designer update management, activation code, designer language, and designer port, as shown in the following figure.

    RecentOpenedFilePathList: represents the recently opened template paths and lists.

    ActivationKey: represents the activation code.

    LastOpenFilePath: represents the template path opened last time.

    Language: represents the designer language.

    JettyServerPort: represents the designer port.
