--Analysis Efficiency Improvement--

Enhanced Data Validation

The following functions have been added to data validation:

• The system can count null values of fields, display the earliest and latest dates (for extracted data only), and show the maximum and minimum values in the current value column (for extracted data only).

• You can click the null value count, earliest, latest, minimum, or maximum statistics to view the corresponding detailed row. You can click the drop-down list button in the header of the detailed row to view the field value count, as shown in the following figure.

Field Source Step Tracing

In actual analysis scenarios, data lineage is often complex. To validate or fix an analysis field, you need to first locate its source field.

The field tracing function is added in the new version, enabling you to trace the origin of any field within a subject area. You can click Source Step to locate the source field, as shown in the following figure.

Getting Source Table's Groups

When operating an analysis subject where its source table has been previously grouped, you can click Get Source Table's Group to quickly apply the existing groups and easily edit these groups.

Eliminating you from grouping the table from scratch, this function significantly improves the working efficiency, as shown in the following figure.

Higher Field Search Efficiency

• For Join and Union All, you can select a merge basis field after searching.

• For Split Field, you can search for keywords in the drop-down list of Select Field and select one.

Icons Insertable into KPI Cards

You can insert icons into KPI cards, enhancing their visual presentation.

Conversion Rates Displayable in Funnel Charts

The conversion rate display function is added to directly display conversion rates at each stage in funnel charts. You can quickly obtain data without manual formula calculation, improving the working efficiency, as shown in the following figure.

Component Width Setting

In earlier versions, you can only resize components by dragging, but cannot directly set the width ratio of components. In this update, the Set Width function is added in FineBI.

For example, when you need three filter components with an equal width to fill the screen horizontally, you can just set the width of each filter component to 1/3 of the screen. The following figure shows the operation steps.

Optimized Dirty Data Repair

FineBI provides the Dirty Data Repair function to help administrators troubleshoot dirty data in FineBI configuration (with manual/automatic repair supported).

In the new version:

• You can troubleshoot dirty data in Analysis Subject Configuration.

• You can troubleshoot dirty data for Recycle Bin in Platform Configuration.
