After data processing, you can analyze and determine which products are preferred by the female customer group.
First, you can use a pie chart to display and analyze the sales performance of the major category, as shown in the following figure.
1. Drag Major Category and Retail Price into the analysis area, double-click Retail Price and rename it Sales Revenue. You can also modify the data directly in the dataset to avoid making repeated changes afterward.
2. Filter Major Category to obtain non-null data to exclude the empty column.
3. Set Chart Type to Pie Chart.
4. Choose Sales Revenue > Value Format > Quantity Unit > Thousand to present data visually.
Next, you can analyze the sales trends from two dimensions Mid-Level Category and Order Date, as shown in the following figure.
1. Set Chart Type to Partitioned Line Chart.
2. Drag Order Date and Retail Price into the analysis area, and Mid-Level Category into Color column under Graphic Property.
3. Group the Order Date values by Year.
4. Filter Mid-Level Category to obtain non-null data to exclude the empty columns.
5. Choose Sales Revenue > Value Format > Quantity Unit > Thousand to present data visually.
Next, you can analyze the sales revenue and sales volume trends based on Main Color Range. Since the dataset does not have a sales volume metric and each row represents one order, you can use Count to count the number of rows and calculate the Sales Volume values, as shown in the following figure.
1. Drag Main Color, Sales Revenue and Count into the analysis area.
2. Set Chart Type to Custom Chart, and choose Graphic Property > Sales Volume > Line.
3. Choose Sales Revenue > Value Format > Quantity Unit > Thousand, and Sales Volume > Set Value Axis > Shared Axis > Right-value Axis.
4. Change Polyline to Curve, and hide the data point to make the chart more visually appealing.
You can analyze the sales revenue and sales volume trends based on Price Range. Since the metrics used for analysis are the same — Sales Revenue and Sales Volume, you can copy the components of Main Color Range - Sales Analysis and change the Horizontal Axis setting. In addition, you need to make further adjustments, as shown in the following figure.
1. Copy the component of Main Color Range - Sales Analysis, and change Horizontal Axis to Price Range.
2. Filter Price Range to obtain non-null data.
3. Sort Price Range in ascending order.
When filtering the gender values, you can identify two gender fields. After tracing source steps, you can find that the fields originate from the Product Table and VIP Table, respectively. What you need is not the gender of the target audience for product styles in the Product Table, but the actual gender from the VIP Table. You can rename the gender field in Product Table Target Group, as shown in the following figure.
After processing, you can add a tree label, and drag Gender1, Registration Channel, and Current VIP Level into Field. For details, see: Tree Filter Component. The following figure shows the effect.
You can use a tab component to make the dashboard clearer. For details, see Tab Component. The following figure shows the effect.
