Application Scenario
Design users can create datasets and utilize them for dashboard creation and sharing. This document introduces the specific functionality knowledge to design users.

For details about functions of the dashboard viewing, see Viewer Operation Guide.
Prerequisite
1. The admin needs to set the user to Designer.
2. The admin needs to assign some basic permissions on the public data to the designer.
Subject
The subject that is collaborated with you:
According to the permissions given by other users, you can perform operations such as Edit, Rename, Save as, Collaborate, or Exit Collaboration on the subject.
The subject that is created by yourself:
You can organize storage locations and structures of all folders in My Analysis.
You can perform operations such as Edit, Rename, Move to, Save as, Delete, Collaborate on the subject you have created.
Data
Adding Data
On the subject editing page, design users can add data to the subject, and the data source can be from Current Project or Local Excel. The Batch Select function is supported.
Current project: all data in My Analysis and data with permissions in Public Data.
Local Excel: Excel sheets from local devices are supported to be uploaded as data sources.

Dashboard
The dashboard is a panel that displays visual components created for data analysis.
You can add any component to the dashboard, including tables, charts, and controls, etc.
A well-designed dashboard has a variety of benefits. It can coordinate organizational work and help identify key issues, make the content you want to express clearer and more readable, and expand analysis based on your ideas.
