Application Scenario
In FineData Link, you (the admin) want to assign Use permission on Data Development, Data Pipeline, Data Service, and Database Table Management to other users for them to:
Use Data Development and Data Pipeline functions for data processing.
Use the Data Service function to publish APIs.
Use the Database Table Management function to write/debug SQL statements, view created tables, as well as delete, clear, and copy and paste tables in FineDataLink.
Prerequisite
Related functions have been registered. For details, see Registration Introduction.
Notes
1. Once you (the admin) assign Use permission on Data Platform for a user following the instructions in this document, the user has Management permission on all tasks (including scheduled tasks, pipeline tasks, and APIs) by default.
For details about assigning Use permission on specified tasks to different users, and assigning users the O&M permission on tasks in Data Development, Data Pipeline, and Data Service, see Scheduled Task Management Permission, Pipeline Task Management Permission, Data Service API Management Permission, and Data Service App Management Permission.
2. Once you (the admin) assign Use permission on Data Platform for a user following the instructions in this document, the user can manage scheduled tasks, pipeline tasks, and APIs in O&M Center.
Example
The example in this chapter shows how to assign Use permission on Data Development, Data Pipeline, Data Service, and Database Table Management to the user eoco for eoco to process the data.
Enabling Hierarchical Authorization and Data Connection Control
Log in to FineDataLink as the super admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Global Setting, enable Hierarchical Authorization and Data Connection Control, and click Save, as shown in the following figure.
Operation | Description |
