Overview
The system administrator (the super admin) that has been configured during initialization after FineDataLink deployment has the maximum permission of FineDataLink. To allow multiple people to develop tasks in FineDataLink, the super admin needs to create multiple system users and assign them corresponding permission.
This document introduces how to create a system user Dan, and how to assign him the Use permission on a specified data connection and the Edit permission on tasks in specified folders in Data Development, Data Pipeline, and Data Service.
Procedure
Creating a User
FineDataLink provides various methods to create system users. This document uses the method of manually adding users. Click Add User under System Management > User Management > All Users to create the user Dan, as shown in the following figure.

You can find the created user Dan by searching for the username/name, as shown in the following figure.
Adding the Created User to Data Development Users
Add Dan to PC User, as shown in the following figure.

If User Restriction is enabled for Data Development User, only data development users can use functions such as Data Pipeline, Data Development, Data Service, and Task O&M, and other PC users cannot. If the restriction is not enabled here, all the users can use these functions by default, as shown in the following figure.

Assigning Management Permission on Data Connection
Choose System Management > Permission Management, and enable Hierarchical Authorization and Data Connect Control in Global Setting, as shown in the following figure.
Select the user Dan under System Management > Permission Management, and assign him the Use permission on the Data Connection module and the specified data connection (fdl-demotest in this example) in Data Connection, as shown in the following figure.
After logging in to FineDataLink, Dan can create data connections and use the fdl-demotest data connection to develop tasks.
Assigning Management Permission on Task Folders
You may want to assign users the Use permission on the Data Development, Data Management, and Data Service modules.
Log in to FineDataLink as the super admin, and enable Scheduled Task Management, Pipeline Task Management, Data Service API Management, and Data Service App Management in Global Setting, as shown in the following figure.
Select the user to whom you want to assign permission (Dan in this example), and assign him the permission on modules in Data Platform, as shown in the following figure.
Assign the Management permission on the specified folder in Scheduled Task for the user to create and develop tasks in the folder, as shown in the following figure.
Assign the Management permission on the specified folder in Data Pipeline, Data Service API, and Data Service App in the same way, as shown in the following figures.
After logging in to FineDataLink, Dan can create tasks, APIs, and Apps in the folders on which he has Management permission, as shown in the following figures.
