    Function Overview

Allowed setting execution frequencies for scheduled tasks to have them executed automatically at regular intervals, ensuring prompt data updates.

A scheduled task can be set with multiple execution frequencies.

    Function Description

    1. You can set Plan Name, Start Time, Execution Frequency, and End Time for a timed scheduling plan, as shown in the following figure.

    Scheduling Calendar

Enable this button to reference a scheduling calendar:

    1. In FineDataLink of versions before 4.1.13.3, you need to customize scheduling calendars in O&M Center; in FineDataLink of 4.1.13.3 and later versions, when you reference a scheduling calendar, if the calendar is empty, you can click New to be redirected to the scheduling calendar creation page.

    2. You can set multiple scheduling plans for a scheduled task to reference multiple scheduling calendars.

    Start Time

    2-3.png

    • If you reference a scheduling calendar, you can only select the year and month within the range of the scheduling calendar when setting Start Time. If you do not reference a scheduling calendar, the start time needs to be later than the current time.

    • If you reference a scheduling calendar, the execution date is the intersection of the start time and the scheduling calendar: For example, if the scheduling calendar is from 12-08 and every day after, and the start time is set to 12-10, the task execution will start from 12-10.

    Execution Frequency

Four optional setting items are available for Execution Frequency. The following table describes each setting item.

    Execution FrequencyDescriptionCorresponding End Time
    Execute Once Only
After the scheduling plan starts, the task will be executed only once.
You do not need to set End Time.
    Execute Repeatedly

After the scheduling plan takes effect, the task will be executed repeatedly.

For example, the task is executed once every day or every week.

Three options are available for End TimeUnlimitedSet End Time, and Extra Repeated Execution Times.
    Set Detailed Frequency

The setting for interval time can be refined.

For example, you can set the task to be executed once on the 3rd and 13th of each month.

This function is more powerful than the Execute Repeatedly function.

Two options are available for End TimeUnlimited and Set End Time.
    Set Expression

You can use formulas to set a specific time.

For details about the setting methods, see Cron Expression.

Two options are available for End TimeUnlimited and Set End Time.
    iconNote:

    1. With Execution Frequency set, the next execution will start only after the current execution is completed. Before that, the task is in a queued state.

    2. With Execution Frequency set, if a scheduled task fails once, it will still be automatically executed at the next execution time.

    • If you do not reference a scheduling calendar, you can choose: Execute Once Only, Execute Repeatedly, Set Detailed Frequency, and Set Expression.

    • If you reference a scheduling calendar, you cannot set Execution Frequency to Execute Once Only.

    • Displayed time of recent 100 executions if you set Execution Frequency to Set Expression for you to check whether the Cron expression met your expectation.

    Others
On the scheduled task editing page, you can choose Scheduling Plan > Timed Scheduling to set execution frequencies for a single scheduled task. Under O&M Center > Scheduled Task > Scheduling Plan > Timed Scheduling, you can set execution frequencies for multiple scheduled tasks.

You can view all execution frequencies set for a scheduled task under Scheduling Plan > Timed Scheduling on the scheduled task editing page. However, here you cannot modify or delete the execution frequencies set under O&M Center > Scheduled Task > Scheduling Plan > Timed Scheduling. You need to modify or delete them under O&M Center > Scheduled Task > Scheduling Plan > Timed Scheduling.

    Procedure

For example, you may want the scheduled task to be executed once every day to ensure smooth task operation.

Enter the scheduled task editing page and click the QQ浏览器截图20250402160307.pngicon in Production Mode to add a single scheduling plan, as shown in the following figure.

    3-1.png

Set Plan Name and Start Time. Set Execution Frequency to Execute Repeatedly, and set End Time to Unlimited so that the current task will be executed at the same time every day, as shown in the following figure.

    3-2.png

After the task execution starts, you can see the running record of the scheduled task, as shown in the following figure.
