Letter Sequence Number

In report systems, data often needs to be numbered. In FineReport, you can use the functions =seq() and =&cell to generate sequence numbers.

But what can you do if you want to number data by letters?

Report Opening

Open the required report.

Cell Formula Using

Use the formula char(seq()+64) to generate uppercase letter sequence numbers or char(seq()+96) to generate lowercase letter sequence numbers.

The following figure shows how to change the report style.

Note: There are only 26 letters. If the quantity of sequence numbers exceeds 26, do not use this formula.
