Map File Resource Update​

You need to update the built-in map file resources to an authorized version for the designer installed before 2021/-03/-11. The following section introduces the two update methods.

Note:

You need to back up your custom JSON file (if any) in advance.

Online Update

1. Delete the map folder from the %FR_HOME%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\assets\ path.

2. Start the project. When you use chart-related functions, the prompt "Latest resource files need to be downloaded for charts. Do you want to install the files?" pops up. Click Yes.

3. Wait for the dependence environment installation.

4. After the dependence environmrnt installation, click Yes in the pop-up box displaying the "The setting will take effect after designer restart." message. Then the map file resources are successfully updated online.

Manual Update

1. Download the geographic resource file, map.zip. After decompression, replace the map folder in the %FR_HOME%\webapps\webroot\WEB-INF\assets\ path with that in the ZIP file.

2. Choose System Management > Map Configuration and click Sync Geo File on the decision-making platform.
