I. Fancy Tree - Electronic
1. Add a Fancy Tree
1) Click Floating Element > Chart, and select Extended Chart-Others > Fancy Tree - Electronic.
2) Adjust the size of the chart.
2. Prepare data
Create a new built-in dataset ds1, add 2 data columns Year and Sales Volume, and insert 4 rows of data, to show the sales volumes in different years.
3. Set data for the chart
Use ds1 as the chart data and set the Node Name and Node Content as follows:
4. Preview the chart
The node name and node content are displayed as bubbles.
5. Adjust bubble size
1) There are 4 rows of data in ds1, but only 2 bubbles are displayed in the preview. To display all the bubbles, you need choose Style > Graphics, select Custom after Size and define the bubble size as 90 (You can change this value according to the real situation).
2) After the setting, the 4 bubbles are all displayed.
Note: When using Fancy Tree to display indicators, it is recommended to always adjust the bubble size to fully display them.
6. Set the tree color and bubble colors
1) Choose Style > Graphics and adjust the color for the tree, the color for the bubbles and the color for selected bubbles
2) Preview the effect.
7. Customize the labels
1) You can change the format of node name and node content according to their data types and customize their font.
2) The format can be choosen from Normal, Number, Currency, etc. Since the two data columns in ds1 are string type, just keep the format as General.
8. Set the background
1) Swich the tab to BG. By default, there are two anaimation effects: Streamer Effect and Gear Effect, and you can choose to turn off them. The background color and its opacity can be changed.
2) If you choose to turn off the two animation effects, the tree will look like as below:
IV. Fancy Tree - Model
Note: The settings of Fancy Tree - Model are exactly the same as Fancy Tree - Electronics, so the following document only shows the effect of the tree.
1. Change chart type
Choose Type and select Fancy Tree - Model.
