On-Demand Calculation of Global Parameters

Global parameters can be calculated on demand now, preventing all parameters from being calculated completely before calculation of each template. This can significantly improve performance and resolve white screen issues.

Note:

1. Such calculation is not subject to whether Calculation Delay of Global/Template Parameters is enabled.

2. This function is not applicable in FVS.

Optimization of FVS Date-Typed Widgets

(1) Date Time Widget Optimization

In FVS V3.3.0, the Y and Y-Q options are added under Content > Format for the Date Time widget.

(2) Date Range Widget Added

In FVS V3.3.0, the Date Range widget is added. Different date ranges can be selected during template preview.

You can use Quick Range to quickly select date ranges. You can link other components through parameters to view data in different ranges.

Optimization of FVS Custom 3D Models

In FVS V3.3.0, the configuration and management of custom models in the 3D City Scene component and models in the Custom 3D Scene component have been optimized.

(1) The Replace function is added for you to replace already uploaded models.

You can hover your mouse over the model thumbnail and click the Replace button in the upper right corner. After you click Replace in the confirmation pop-up box, the selected model will be replaced, as shown in the following figure.

(2) You can re-edit model data preprocessing.

• In versions earlier than V3.3.0, you can preprocess model data in the model preprocessing pop-up box displayed when a model is initially uploaded. After setting, the data preprocessing settings cannot be undone or modified again.

• In V3.3.0 and later versions, you can click the Preprocess Model button for data preprocessing (multiple modifications supported) in the setting pop-up box displayed when you hover your mouse over the model thumbnail after a model is uploaded.

Note:

After FVS is upgraded to V3.3.0, wireframe animation is not affected by preprocessing level modifications.

3D Component Undo/Redo Optimization

• In versions earlier than V3.3.0, undo and redo work only when you move, rotate, and zoom in/on models.

• In V3.3.0 and later versions, you can undo and redo the operations of showing/hiding/renaming models and configuring attributes of custom models.

Note:

After geojson/glb model resources are replaced, the undo/redo queue for the corresponding model resources is cleared.

You can undo or redo operations by clicking corresponding buttons on the top toolbar or using shortcut keys. The shortcut keys are Ctrl+Z for Undo, and Shift+Ctrl+Z for Redo.

Dynamic Boundary in FVS Scene Maps

In FVS V3.2.2, you can use different template parameters to display different provinces as map boundaries in scene maps.

New API for FVS Chart Tooltip Carousel

In FVS V3.3.0, the stopAutoTooltip and moveOnAutoTooltip APIs are added for you to pause and resume the automatic chart tooltip carousel, respectively. These API have the same usage as openAutoTooltip.

Format Painter Added for FVS Rich Text Components

In FVS V3.3.0, Format Painter is added under Content > Content Style in rich text components to quickly copy text styles and format texts.

Icon Insertable in FVS Dynamic Values

In FVS V3.3.0, the Icon setting is added under Insert Dynamic Value > Condition Style. You can select Enable Icon to insert an icon. This function meets the icon setting requirements in KPI cards, and allows the icons to change accordingly based on different data values.

This function is supported only in rich text components.

Request Method Configurable for FVS URLs/Pop-up Boxes

By default, the GET request method is used to transfer parameters in the URL/Pop-up Box interaction events of FVS components. However, too long parameters may cause URLs to be truncated, preventing parameter from being transferred completely. In FVS V3.3.0, the Request Method option is added on the URL/Pop-up Box configuration page. You can select GET (default value) or POST to transfer parameters.

Note:

1. After the upgrade, Request Method is set to GET by default in URL/Pop-up Box events of all historical templates. You can manually switch from GET to POST on the configuration page.

2. In 11.0.33 and later versions, you can also set the request method under Hyperlink > Mobile Pop-up in FVS table components.

Sortable FVS Space Option

In FVS V3.3.0, the Option Sort function is added on the Option Source page of Dropdown Box and Button Group widgets. You can flexibly sort widget options according to your needs, helping viewers quickly find their desired options.

Component Operation Hotkey Added in FVS

In FVS V3.3.0, the following hotkeys are added to improve the convenience and accuracy of component operations:

• You can press Shift and click the mouse button to accurately drag a component linearly (horizontally or vertically).

• You can press Shift and drag the component control point to scale a component at the original aspect ratio.

Changed FVS Calculation Request Merging Logic

In FVS V3.3.0, the calculation request merging logic has been changed from merging requests with similar calculation time based on the current page to prioritizing requests of the components with higher vertical coordinates (namely, first sending calculation requests of components in the upper part of the canvas).

User Session Added to Load Management

The User Session function is added for the system to identify the login behavior of a user in a specific browser on a device as an independent session. This can help super administrators monitor login status in real time and kick out abnormal sessions.

Component Zoom-in Supported on Mobile Terminals

If a component is small when you preview a template on mobile terminals, you may often need to zoom in on the component (namely, interact with the component) to view its details.

To enhance your mobile preview experience, Display in Full Screen under Special Effect > Interaction of chart components and Zoom-in Button in the toolbar of table components are supported on mobile terminals in FVS V3.3.0.
