Application Scenario
When you want to know the time interval between two time fields, you can use the Time Interval function to obtain a time interval column.
Function Description
Select the two required time fields, and set Unit to Year, Quarter, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, or Second, as shown in the following figure.
Example
Sample data: Contract Fact Table.xlsx.
The table has two fields: Registration Time and Contract Signing Time. How can you know the interval between the customer registration time and the contract signing time?
(1) Create an analysis subject and upload the sample data Contract Fact Table to enter the data editing page.
(2) Add Time Interval through either method, as shown in the following figure.
(3) Add a column named Time Interval to calculate the contract signing time minus the registration time (unit: day), as shown in the following figure.
(4) Click OK. Then you will get the time interval between the registration time and the signing time, as shown in the following figure.
