Overview
In FineBI, business personnel mainly analyze data in My Analysis which contains various subjects. Data analysis involves processing and presenting data, and these contents are all included in the subject.
This article will introduce the analysis subject and show how to add data to the subject as preparations for data analysis.

Analysis Subject
Analysis subject is the core element for data analysis and visualization in FineBI.
When you need to make data analysis, you can create a new subject and analyze data in it.
Analysis subject also supports collaborative editing among different users, greatly facilitating the sharing of analysis content among users.
Adding Data
The first step of analysis is to add data. Data is the foundation of analysis.
After creating an analysis subject, you will directly enter the data adding interface. You can choose data in FineBI or upload local Excel files.
Note: If you exit the analysis subject, you can select the subject in My Analysis, click Edit to enter the subject interface, and click + to add data.
Example
Learn how to create a subject and add data.
1. Click My Analysis > All analysis > New subject to create a new subject.
2. Then you will automatically enter the interface to select data. Click Local Excel > Upload to add data.
Note: You can select multiple tables to upload at the same time by holding down the Shift/Ctrl key.
