Overview
After creating the components for a dashboard, you need to design the layout, add more content, and beautify the dashboard to complete the overall design.
Application Scenarios
This section will introduce some application scenarios that will be involved in the following examples.
Adding Other Components
In the dashboard editing interface, you can add other components to enrich the interface. Click Other to add Text Component, Image Component, Web Component and Tab Component.

Dashboard Beautification
For dashboard beautification, you are recommended to use the Dashboard style setting, and for Tab components, click Style Settings for beautification.
If you want to beautify a specific chart, you need to enter the component editing interface for beautification.
Example Scenarios
Tab Component
For components that have been adjusted in layout, some may belong to the same theme. For example, Top ten products with the highest sales amount and Sales amount ratio by category are both related to sales analysis. For components under the same theme, you can group them together and display them in the same tab.
1. Click Other > Tab Component and drag the components to the tab component. 2. Click + at the right side of tab to add a new tab.

Adjusting Layout
If you find that the arrangement of the components on the dashboard is not ideal when entering the dashboard editing interface, you should adjust the layout of the dashboard.
You can click the component border to resize it, and drag the edge to adjust its position.
Text Component
At this time, a sales report is basically formed. And if you want to add a title Supermarket Sales Report, click Other > Text Component.
If you need some external links as auxiliary explanation, you can click the text box. Add a hyperlink (www.finebi.com), enter the corresponding information (click to enter the official website), then successfully insert the hyperlink and adjust the text position and size.
Dashboard Beautification
If you are not satisfied with the dashboard style, you can adjust it.
1. Dashboard Style
Click Dashboard style, select the style that you want. For example, you can select White. You can also customize the style. Click Custom to set it and click OK to save.
2. Tab Component Style
You can also modify the style of tab component.
You may feel the title of the tab component is redundant and want to hide it. Click the dropdown list of Tab Component and select Style. Uncheck Tab Component Title. Then the title is hidden. You can also make other modifications according to your preferences.
3. Other Beautification
You can adjust the title color, value unit format, and component size to beautify the dashboard.
After finishing the adjustment, click Preview in the upper right corner of the dashboard to enter the preview interface and view all data calculation results.
Note: If you want the dashboard to show data in January 2020 by default, you should filter the data in the dashboard editing interface and then preview.
