When you use Task Schedule, it is easy to encounter a situation where the update frequency for the same object is too high, updating repeatedly.
When the update frequency is too high or an update fails, the system will provide certain restrictions and warnings.
When you set Update With Parent Table for a self-service dataset, Schedule Setting will be unavailable. When you hover your mouse over the grayed-out button, a prompt "Datasets that are updated with the parent table do not need to be set to update regularly." will be displayed.
The system will calculate the average update times the current object performs per day. If the update frequency is too high, a prompt will appear when you use Schedule Setting.
For example, if you set the update interval to one hour, a system prompt "It is expected that more than 10 update(s) will be performed per day. Update at such high frequency is unnecessary, which will lead to hardware resource waste. You are advised to confirm the reasonableness of the scheduled update task in the current object." will be displayed.
A prompt "It is recommended to confirm or adjust by referring to the details. The relevant folders/datasets have been set to be updated regularly, which may cause repeated updates." will be displayed if you set Task Schedule under the following circumstances:
1. You have set a scheduled update task for the object to be updated.
2. You have set a scheduled update task for a subfolder in the folder to be updated.
3. You have set a scheduled update task for the parent folder of the folder to be updated.
4. You have set a scheduled update task for a table in the folder that needs to be updated (selected to be updated with the folder).
Click Details to view the update tasks that have been set.
When you update a table, the system will pull up the associated tables, analysis tables, and associations for updating together. If too many tables are pulled up in a task, the update will slow down. A system prompt "It is expected that x dataset or associated updates will be pulled, which may cause a short-term freeze or update queuing." will be displayed.
If other update tasks are being updated, the newly triggered task will prompt: "Too many update tasks exist currently and are expected to be executed in queue."
