Application Scenario

You can use the Global Update function to update all folders and tables that meet the criteria.

Only the super admin can perform global updates.

Function Description

The global update setting doesn't apply to single tables or folders that are set to bypass global updates.

If a global update takes a long time, it may be a database driver problem, and you can upgrade the database driver.

Ensure enough local storage space for data updates.

Choose Public Data > Global Update to enter the Global Update setting page.

A: If you click Global Update Now, the update of all folders (set to be updated during global updates) starts immediately.

B: If you click Schedule Setting, you will enter the Scheduled Update setting page. For details, you can refer to Global Scheduled Update.

C: Specify the storage path of updated data. Ensure enough local storage space for data updates. You can manually change the storage path. For details, see Data Storage Path.

Note:

In the cluster extraction environment, you cannot view the storage path of updated data on the Global Update setting page. To view and modify the storage path for updated data in the cluster extraction environment, you can refer to Data Storage Path of Cluster Extraction.
