    Application Scenarios

After adding a component to a dashboard, you may want to name the component and customize its style so that the generated dashboard shows data information more visually and clearly.

    Functions

The component title editing function allows you to rename components and customize the styles of charts, tables, and filter components added to the dashboard, and supports rich text settings for charts and table components added to the dashboard.

    iconNote:

    1. The filter component title does not support rich text settings.

    2. Text/image/web components only allow you to modify component names and do not allow you to customize the styles.

    3. The same dashboard does not support components with the same title.

    Editing Title

Component Title Referencing the Component Name Field

Component name is the title of the component not added in the dashboard.

Component title is the displayed title of the component added in the dashboard.

Add a component to a dashboard, and the component title references the Component Name field by default, namely the component title changing with the component name, as shown in the following figure.

After you modify the component title in the dashboard, the component title changes, but the component name does not change. You need to reference the Component Name field again to make the component title consistent with the component name, as shown in the following figure.

    Editing Title Content

You can edit the content of the displayed title.

On the dashboard editing page, double-click the component title to modify the component name.

You can also click Edit Title to open the title editing page.

    Setting Font Style

Select the text to be edited to set the title style.

You can select Auto to set the default font style or select Custom to customize the font, font size, and font color.

Various settings for custom font styles are explained in the following table.

For details about examples of dynamic title, see Displaying Title Dynamically (introducing how to add indicators to the title).

    Supported RangeDescription

Dimension field in the analysis area

    /

    Filter component

Composite filter component is not supported.

For tree filter components, only fields in the components can

    be added to the title.

For other filtering components, only the filtering component

itself can be added to the title.

You can add fields of components to the title on the title editing page.

    Showing/Hiding Title

Component title is ticked by default. You can cancel the tick to hide the title.

Untick Show Title on the dashboard editing page, as shown in the following figure.

    Notes

Condition for Filter Component's Effect on Title

If you select the filter component field as the component title and set the filtering condition of the filtering component to empty, the component title defaults to All, as shown in the following figure.

If you set a filter condition for the filtering component, the text of this condition is displayed.

If Control Range of the filter component does not include the component with the title set in the previous section, the title is still displayed as All even if the filter condition is set.

Deleting the Field Added in the Title

If the analysis component whose field is added in the title is deleted, a prompt appears in the title area. For example, delete the year-month filter component whose field is added in the title, and the effect is shown in the following figure.
