Now, you can set the color of regions with no data. For details, see section "Setting Color."
An area map is a visual graphic that uses colors with different shades to show the size and distribution of data. The following figure is an area map which shows the distribution of customers. The darker the color, the more customers there are.
The following table describes the basic requirements for an area map.
Area map
Two geographical dimension fields (one for longitude and the other for latitude)
An area map uses colors with different shades to differentiate the magnitude of values, which is suitable for displaying the data distribution in geographic areas.
1. Log in to the system as the administrator, click My Analysis, select a folder, and click New Subject, as shown in the following figure.
2. Click Local Excel and click Upload Data, as shown in the following figure.

3. Click OK after the data is uploaded, as shown in the following figure.
1. Click Component in the lower left corner, as shown in the following figure.
2. Convert the field Province in the dimension of the area to be analyzed to a geographic role.
3. Click Area Map in Chart Type and drag the field Province (Longitude) into Horizontal Axis and Province (Latitude) to Vertical Axis, as shown in the following figure.
Drag Count to Color, click Color, and select Yellow to Green in Gradient Solution.
If you want to change the default color order of the map or customize colors, select Area Gradient in Gradient Type and Custom in Gradient Interval, as shown in the following figure.
In V6.0.15 and later versions, you can modify the color of areas whose data values are empty on the maps to distinguish these areas. For example, you can set the color of Indonesia with an empty value to white.
Hiding Legends
Deselect Display All Legends under Component Style > Legend.
Setting the Background
Set the background to Midnight.

3. Click Area Map in Chart Type and drag Country (Longitude) to Horizontal Axis and Country (Latitude) field to Vertical Axis, as shown in the following figure.

Note: When referring to "Color Setting" in this document, drag Quantity to Color instead of Count.
