The text chart is a visualization tool that displays textual information by a graph, which can display data and information in a more visual and understandable form.
Text charts are often used to simplify and explain complex textual data, allowing you to quickly grasp the relationship between the key information and data.
For example, you can use a text chart to display the total dwell time of the latest access phase on different access platforms.
1. Advantage
Visualization: The charts represent textual information by visual elements such as nodes, edges, colors, and shapes, making the complex data easier to understand and analyze.
Information integration: The charts can integrate a large amount of textual information within a visual framework so that you can quickly grasp the core content and structure of the text.
2. Disadvantage
Information overload: If a text chart is too complex, it may display too much information for you to understand and analyze.
Detail loss: When a chart represents the text by the graph, some details and contextual information may be lost, especially for long or complex text.
