You hope that subordinate admins can assign directory-related permissions to subordinate users in the FineBI system.
This article introduces two types of Authorize permission:

One
Allow the sales director to assign viewing permission of the Sales directory to Sales department.
1. Enable Hierarchical Authorization.
2. Assign the Authorize permission of Directory Permission.
3. Assign the Authorize permission of Data Authorization.
4. Assign the Authorize permission of Personnel Management.
5. Assign the Use permission of Permission Management in System Management.
Two
Allow the sales director to assign editing permission of the Sales directory to Sales department.
1. Enable Hierarchical Authorization and Directory Edit.
3. Assign Authorize permission of Personnel Management.
4. Assign the Authorize permission of Directory Management in System Management.
5. Assign the Use permission of Management in System Management.
This example introduces how to allow the sales director to assign viewing permission of the Sales directory to Sales department.
Log into FineBI as the admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Authorization Configuration, and select the permission carrier Dept., Role or users from User List.
This example selects Sales department > Sales director.
Click Directory Permission, and assign the Authorize permission of the Sales directory to Sales director.
The dashboard in Sales uses data in the Sales folder in Public Data.
Click Data Authorization, and assign the Authorize permission of Sales department to Sales director.
Click Personnel Management, and assign the Authorize permission of Sales department to Sales director.
Log into FineBI as the admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration, and select the permission carrier Dept./Role or users from User List.
Click System Management, and assign the Use permission of the Permission module to Sales director.
Sales director Alice logs into FineBI, clicks System Management > Permission Management, and can assign the View permission of the Sales directory to Sales department.
This example introduces how to allow the sales director to assign editing permission of the Sales directory to Sales department.
Log into FineBI as the admin, choose System Management > Permission management > , enable Hierarchical Authorization and Directory Edit, and click Save.
Log into FineBI as the admin, choose System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration, and select the permission carrier Dept., Role or users from User List.
Click System Management, and assign the Authorize permission of the Directory Management module to Sales director.
Click System Management, and assign the Use permission of the Permission Management module to Sales director.
Sales director Alice logs into FineBI, clicks System Management > Permission Management > Common Permission Configuration, and can assign editing permission of the Sales directory to Sales department.
After assigning the Authorize permission of the parent directory to Dept., Role or users from User List, the small lock of the child node will be grayed out and the corresponding dashboard cannot be configured permissions.
