I. Overview
1) Cell auto size: When preview reports, the cell centent can sometimes exceeds the size of the cell itself. Settings in Cell Attributes‐>Other allow cells to automatically adjust the length and height according to their content.
2) Cell tooltip: You can set tooltip for cells, so that when your mouse hover over cells, anscillary information can be displayed to guide you read the report. The tooptip of cell is also set in Cell Attributes‐>Other.
3) Prerequisite: Insert Data Columns and Insert Formulas.

II. Steps
1. Create a new dataset [ds1]
1) Create a new DB query.
2) Drag the table [department] into the DB query.
2. Drag all data columns of [ds1] into B2~G2
Set center alignment and add borders.
3. Cell Auto Size – Follow Paper Settings
1) The default is Follow Paper Settings.
2) Preview. The length and height of cells will be automatically adjusted to completely display the content.
4. Cell Auto Size – No Automatic Adjustment
Preview. Cells are of fixed size and text beyond the size of cells is covered.
5. Cell Auto Size – Auto Adjust Height
Preview. The height of cells will be automatically adjusted to completely display the content.
6. Cell Auto Size – Auto Adjust Width
Preview. The width of cells will be automatically adjusted to completely display the content.
7. Tooltip of Cell – Text
1) Select B2.
2) Input the following in the text field after [Tooltip of Cell]: ID.
3) Preview. When the mouse hovers over B2 extended data, tooltip “ID” will appear.
8. Tooltip of Cell – Formula
1) Select C2.
2) Input the following formula in the text field after Tooltip of Cell: ="Name: " + $$$ + ", Position: " + G2.
3) Preview. When the mouse hovers over the C2 extended data, tooltip will appear, showing the original C2 value (i.e. name) and G2 value (i.e. department).
