Custom GIS Layer Maximum Zoom Level Supported by the Map

In FineReport, the maximum zoom level for GIS layer in the map is 18, but in some scenarios, you need to customize the layer to support zoom levels above 18.

When customizing GIS layers, you can add the parameter maxZoom after the layer URL to define the maximum zoom level.

For details, see Maximum Zoom Level for Custom GIS Map Layers.

Display Mode Setting Supported by E-mail Content of Data Alert

In the warning task settings, Other Content was added to Receiving > E-mail, which allows customizing the received content as either Result Link or Warning Object.

The result link will display the report content in the e-mail as a hyperlink.

The warning object will display the report content as an image in the e-mail.

For details, see The Introduction to Data Alert Plugin.

Data Alert Plugin Opening Notification Interface

The data alert plugin currently only supports email, SMS, platform, and some client notifications. However, complex scenarios for receiving alerts are often encountered in practical applications, and most companies have their own OA or dedicated notification platforms internally.

To meet the timeliness of alert information notification and your reception habits, the data alert plugin opens interface supporting notification to custom platforms or applications, improving the effectiveness of data alert.

For details, see Data Alert Plugin Interface.

Data Portal Plugin Supporting Mobile End

Plugins of version 1.9 and later support mobile data portals.

On the mobile portal homepage, you can search for platform reports, view system announcements and report release dynamics, access commonly used reports with one click, and further improve the efficiency of mobile terminal usage.

For details, see The Example of Using the Mobile Data Portal.

FVS Custom Model Components Supporting Scene Time Changes

You can use the time system to quickly set desired lighting, sky and other effects. You can also present dynamic effects of scenes changing with time through JS interface.

For details, see Scene Time of FVS Custom Model Components.

Adding Glow Setting Option in FVS 3D Components' Scene Properties

In the Scene > Image properties of FVS 3D City Components and FVS Custom Model Components, Glow setting option was added. As is shown below:

If you tick Enable light, models with glowing materials will glow through a blurred superposition.

    Note

    1. Glow also affects wireframes and etching.

    2. When opening the old-version template, Enable light is ticked by default.

Optimizing Copying and Pasting Logic for FVS Components

    1. Starting from version 1.13.0, when you paste by right-clicking the mouse, the component's top-left corner can follow the cursor position to paste.

    2. When using Ctrl+V to paste components, if the pasted component is positioned outside the canvas, old versions of the plugin will paste it in its original position. Starting from 1.13.1 version, components will be pasted to the center of the canvas.

For details, see FVS Copying Components.

Adding Auxiliary Line Function in FVS Canvas

The canvas supports the auxiliary line function, which can be used to locate the component coordinates and facilitate in adjusting the component alignment.

For more details, see FVS Canvas Editing.

Paging Interfaces for FVS Table Components

The table component adapts to the gotoPreviousPage, gotoNextPage, gotoLastPage(), gotoFirstPage(), gotoPage, getCurrentPageIndex, and getReportTotalPage interfaces.

For details, see Report Pagination Interface.

FVS Supporting Quickly Copying Components by Holding Down the Alt Key

FVS supports holding down the alt key (Mac holds down the option key), and then using the left mouse button to drag the component to quickly copy the component.

FVS Title/Rich Text/Table Components Supporting Marquee Effects

Before version 1.14.0, you can implement the table marquee effect through JS, but the setting method was complicated, the learning and understanding cost was high, and the implementation effect was relatively limited.

Therefore, FVS transformed the marquee effect into a functional configuration item that supports not only table components but also rich text and title components, making it more convenient and easy to use.

For details, see FVS Marquee Effect.

Adding 3D Model Control Interfaces in FVS

    Added model acquisition interface: getMeshByName

Added model control interfaces: setVisible, setScaling, setRotation, setPosition, focus

For details, see FVS 3D Components Interfaces.

With the above interfaces, you can modify the properties of the model or focus the model's perspective.

For details, see JS Implementation of Custom Model Perspective Focus.

Adding Interfaces for Setting Pagination Switch Button

When creating an FVS multi-page template, in certain scenarios, custom buttons may be used to switch pages, in which case the original switch button in the lower left corner needs to be hidden.

Even if you hide it through Preview Playback Settings, it still appears when your mouse hovers over the lower left corner. Therefore, the setPageButtonDisplayPolicy interface was added to achieve permanent hiding effect.

For details, see FVS Page Interfaces.

FVS Webpage Link Supporting Setting Opening Method

Before version 1.14.1, when setting the interactive click event to open a web page link, only opening the dialog box on the current page was supported. Version 1.1.4.1 and later support selecting the opening method as a new window, dialog box, or current window.

When the opening method is set to New Window or Current Window, it will be determined whether to open a Browser Window or a Platform Internal Tab based on the page position.

Note: Web Report and Web Link in the hyperlinks of the table component cells will also determine whether to open a Browser Window or a Platform Internal Tab.

For details, see FVS Clicking to Jump to the Webpage Link.

FVS Web Page Frame Components Supporting Dynamic Parameter Passing

Before version 1.14.1, the web frame component only supported passing fixed values as parameters. Starting from version 1.1.4.1, it supports passing dynamic parameter values with formulas.

For details, see FVS Web Page Frame Components.

    Optimizing Downtime Handling Functions

The System Maintenance plugin provided the Automatic handling of downtime function. The 1.4.6 and above versions of plugins supported some functions of it:

    1. Optimized the reasons and solutions for downtime in Downtime self-help wizard

    2. Automatic handling of downtime is compatible with FineBI.

    3. The Process auto recovery function has been split from the Auto restart when the machine is down function and can now be configured to take effect at a specific time.

    4. The Auto restart when the machine is down function is no longer strongly associated with the automatic export of configuration dump.

    5. The Automatically export memory stack function is enabled by default.

    For details, see Downtime Handling.

    3.1.png

    Optimizing Default Cryptographic Algorithm

    1. The default transmission encryption algorithm type is changed from Symmetric Encryption to Asymmetric Encryption.
    2. Provided the transmission.asymmetric parameter to switch the default transmission encryption algorithm type.

    For details, see Cryptographic Algorithm.

Optimizing System Maintenance Component Data Extraction of Data Portal

It can meet the requirement of independent permission allocation for system maintenance components by administrators, avoiding being affected by system functions.

    1. The System Maintenance component directly retrieves data based on logs and is no longer subject to smart maintenance permission.

    2. Remove User Behavior Analysis in the Past 30 Days and Template Access Details in the Past 30 Days components of System Maintenance.

For details, see Data Dashboard Component.

Authorization Migration Plugin Supporting Generating Destruction Credentials

Some users have destroyed their old authorization and need technical support to assist with new authorization.

To facilitate communication, the authorization migration plugin supports generating and destroying credential records. You can obtain and provide the destruction credentials to FineReport technical support when needed.

    • The destruction certificate of the standalone environment is stored in the %FR_HOME%/webroot/WEB-INF/resources folder.

    • The destruction certificate of the cluster environment is stored in the /WEB-INF/resources folder of the file server.

For more details, see Authorization Migration Plugin.
