Display Logic of the Gauge Color
The gauge color is related to the fields in the Color bar and the Pointer Value bar. To be specific, drag a field into the Color bar, click the color setting icon, set Gradient Type to Continuous Gradient or Area Gradient, and set Gradient Interval to Auto or Custom in the pop-up setting box. Determine the color range(s) based on the number of intervals, and then find the corresponding range mapping based on the pointer value.
Take the doughnut gauge as an example. For example, drag Inventory Proportion into the Color bar and the Pointer Value bar. Select Area Gradient for Gradient Type, and Custom for Gradient Interval. Set the number of intervals to 3, respectively 0 – 0.22 for light blue, 0.22 – 0.44 for medium blue, and 0.44 – 0.66 for dark blue. Then, find the corresponding range mapping based on the pointer value. For example, if the pointer value is 63.97%, the color will be displayed as light blue – medium blue – dark blue on the gauge.

2. The following figure shows the final effect.
Gauge Scale Hiding
1. If you want to hide the scale of the Multi-Pointer Gauge and the Test Tube Gauge, just click the color setting icon in Graphic Property and set the color of Scale Value to Transparent. Take the multi-pointer gauge as an example, as shown in the following figure.
2. The following figures show the before-and-after effect comparison.
Maximum Scale Value Modification
1. In the Multi-Pointer Gauge and Test Tube Gauge, Target Value is the maximum scale value of the gauge. You can adjust the maximum scale value by modifying Target Value. Take the multi-pointer gauge as an example. Set Target Value to 4000, as shown in the following figure.
2. The following figures show the before-and-after effect comparison.
Gauge Style Setting
1. FineBI 6.0.15 and later versions allows you to set gauge styles. You can click the setting icon of Style to modify the Size, Style Type, and Scale Bar, and select/deselect Enable Rounded Corner of the gauge. Take the multi-scale gauge as an example, as shown in the following figure.
2. The following figures show the effects comparison of Standard Style and Simple Style.
Gauge Displays of Different Categories Under a Certain Dimension
1. Take the multi-pointer gauge as an example. You need to view the gauges of different categories under a certain dimension separately.
2. For example, to display the sales of three types of fruits, select Gauge in Chart Type on the Component editing page, and select the first subtype of the chart. Drag Sales Volume in the left-to-be-analyzed area into the Pointer Value bar in Graphic Property, and drag Type into the horizontal axis of the analysis area, as shown in the following figure.
