Overview
This document is applicable to users who have installed the Data Portal plugin to learn plugin functions.

Function Description
This document introduces how to use the Quick Entry component in the data portal dashboard.
Adding a Component
Log in to the decision-making platform as admin, choose System Management > Data Portal > Portal Management, and click Add Portal to create a data portal dashboard.
On the data portal editing page, click Portal Component, and click/drag Quick Entry component to the data portal.
Component Content
Select a component. Then you can set the component content on the right.
Set Component Content
Quick Entry component allows you to set entries and combinations.
Entry
You can add, edit, and delete an entry, and drag an entry to adjust its ranking order.

On the editing page of an entry, you can set the name, type, content, cover and description.
Setting | Explanation |
Type Content | The type of an entry can be set to Decision Directory or Hyperlink. The content of an entry depends on its type. (1) Decision Directory You can select directories mounted under the current project from the drop-down list. (2) Hyperlink You can input an absolute path or a relative path. · Absolute path: Ensure that the current server can access the website. Example: https://www.fanruan.com/ · Relative path: You need to save the resource file to the path %BI_HOME%\webapps\webroot. Example: /webroot/1.png Link opening methods:

Name | The name of an entry cannot be empty. |
Cover | You can select a predefined cover or customize a cover. (1) Predefine Predefined covers include three styles: flat, business, and fashion. Each style contains 12 built-in cover icons which you can select as needed. (2) Custom You can upload your local cover icons. Files in JPG, PNG and SVG formats can be uploaded. The recommended size is 40*40. |
Description | You can set the description in the Data Portal plugin V1.4 and later versions. Keep the length of a description within 30 characters. Describe the content directed by the quick entry, which can be displayed in the quick entry. |
Combination
You can add and rename a combination, and drag an entry into a combination.

Allowing Customization
2. Allow Customization is enabled by default in the newly added mobile quick entry component.
Select a quick entry component and tick Allow Customization in Component Content on the right side. Then the More button is added in the component.
When previewing the mobile portal, click the More button in the quick entry component, and you are redirected to the page where you can customize entries in My Entry.
Click Edit and you can manage the admin-configured homepage entries, including creating and removing entries and adjusting the order. After operation, click Save.
After customization, Restore to Default is added in the page. You can click it to restore the admin-configured quick entries, as shown in the following figure.
2. After customization by viewers, if the admin modifies/deletes a certain entry, those entries customized by viewers are simultaneously modified/deleted. If the admin adds an entry, however, the entry is not added simultaneously in viewer-customized entries.
3. After customization by viewers, if the admin disables Allow Customization, the customized entry effect remains unchanged.
Effect Display
On PC
An entry is displayed as an icon and its name. Click an entry to quickly open the corresponding directory on a new tab page or open a hyperlink in a new window, as shown in the following figure.
· You are not allowed to adjust the fixed size of an entry in a component.
· The name of an entry can wrap automatically, up to two lines in the Data Portal plugin V1.3 and later versions.
· Entries can be displayed in combinations in the Data Portal plugin V1.7 and later versions.
On Mobile Terminal
Entries are displayed in the form of icons with their names. You can click an entry to open its corresponding directory, as shown in the following figure.
In Data Portal V1.11 and later versions, viewers can customize quick entries and place required entries configured by the admin on the homepage. For customization details, see section "Allowing Customization."
Component Style
Select a component. Then you can set the component style on the right.
Common Setting
Quick Entry supports two types of component style: Follow Theme and Custom.
1. Follow Theme: The component style completely follows the style of Portal Theme, allowing you to only determine whether to display the component title and set the title text.
2. Custom: The component style does not change as Portal Theme switches. The component style includes the component title, title text, title style, and component background.

Quick Entry Setting
You can customize Quick Entry Setting in the style of both Follow Theme and Custom in the Data Portal plugin V1.4 and later versions.
The instructions of Quick Entry Setting are shown in the following table.

Mobile Component Style
The quick entry component style completely follows the style of Portal Theme.
1. You can determine whether to display the component title and set the title text in Common Setting.
2. You can set the directory font, icon size, column quantity, and maximum number of rows in Quick Entry Setting.
