Application Scenario
Range column charts can be used to display the minimum value, the maximum value, and the difference clearly.
Effect Display
You can use a range column chart to display the temperature range of each month, as shown in the following figure.
Procedure
Data Preparation
1. Log in to the system as the admin, click My Analysis, click a folder, and click New Subject.
2. Click Local Excel and click Upload Data, as shown in the following figure.You can download the example data. Monthly_temperature.xlsx


3. After the data is uploaded, click OK.
Component Creation
Click Edit to change the type of Month field to Text.
Click the Component button to create a component.
Click the Stacked Column Chart icon in Chart Type, drag the Month field to the Horizontal Axis, and the Lowest and Highest temperature values to the Vertical Axis, as shown in the following figure.
In this way, the lowest temperature is displayed in the lower half of the bar chart. Drag the Lowest temperature value into the Color bar in Graphic Property, click Color, select Area Gradient, set the Gradient Interval to Custom, and change the color to transparent when the lowest temperature value is above 0 ℃, and blue when the lowest temperature value is below 0 ℃.
Set the color of the highest temperature to blue, as shown in the following figure.
Label Setting
Drag the Highest and the Lowest temperature fields to the Label bar and edit the label content as high: Highest(Sum) low: Lowest(Sum).
Dashboard Adding
Create a dashboard and add the component to the dashboard.
